Gabrielle Kuelbs (b.1996) is an artist whose work centers on the living intelligence of the natural world. She earned her BFA in Illustration from College for Creative Studies, where she began developing a practice rooted in observation, narrative, and ecological awareness.
Her work explores forest ecology, environmental loss, change, and interdependent relationships between living systems. Through natural materials and imagery drawn from woodland environments, she creates pieces that function as a catalyst for connection and care. In a world that often feels fragmented and hurried, her work invites viewers to slow down, experience awe, and remember we are integral members in the web of life on the planet.
She believes art that honors the natural world carries a unique power to reconnect people to something larger than themselves. By fostering emotional connection, her work encourages empathy, inspires stewardship, and counters isolation in a deeply interconnected macrocosm.
